This is quite an amazing video when you start noodling in your head how it must have been put together. As I did, I began doing a bit of research and it turns out it is even a larger feat than I thought. Andre Chocron set out to make a unique time lapse video as a music video for a music group I have never heard of. Cold Mailman's - Time Is Of The Essence. I had never heard of any of them including Andre, but then again they are Norwegian and I am just a redneck yank.
As you watch the below video, understand the following. It was shot on both a D300 by Nikon, and a 7D by Canon. Sounds like this photographer was certainly having a brand identity crisis, right? But this proves my theory that it is more about the vision and less about the camera. I digress... Also it took 2 weeks just to shoot it. But the real time killer was editing. All of those still frames had to be edited to turn on an off the proper windows in time to the music. THAT little feat took over three months of desk time!
I am not sure if you would call that committed or obsessed. Regardless, it is quite an accomplishement of 14 weeks of hard work in just 3 minutes and 49 seconds of video...

No words to express proper appreciation for this work. Just wondering how he achieved that effect. It must be a big community project!
