Lytro Finally Works With Windows

The Lytro light field camera that allows you to take a picture, and then change the focus point later with their special software, just became compatible with Windows. When it was first released about a year ago, it was only available for MAC. Not exactly sure what took so long...

If you are interested in picking up the Lytro, they still have not dropped in price yet either. It still costs $400 for an 8GB version and $500 for a 16GB version. Ouch.

We here think the Lytro represents something awesome in camera development, but until the picture quality improves and the price comes down, we think we are going to wait before purchasing.

If you have not demo'd what the camera can do, you should at least check it out. Click here for more info.
