The above picture and several just like it are causing a bit of stir and embarrassment for photographer Joe Klamar. The guy gets an awesome chance to shoot members of the US Olympic team. He is stationed at a media event in a small 10X12 area to set up background and lights. He is stationed there with several other photographer and has on average, less than 4 minutes with each Olympian. But somewhere along the way, a light fails him and he is forced to limp along.
The resulting images were less than flattering of a professional with his experience. For some reason, those photos got posted with little or no clean up and post production. So there is noise on the sensor that shows up, and wrinkled backgrounds. That made it even worse.
So readers of the popular website Reddit jumped all over the poor Joe like a a duck on cricket. They were not kind with their words.

But my question is, what would you do? I think I would have cleaned them up as much as possible, then prayed for the pain to be over. I feel bad for him, but he should have at least cleaned up the sensor dust.
Thanks Brian for the tip.
