Adobe announced new RAW processing for both Photoshop and Lightroom as an RC - or Release Candidate. An RC means that they have done a ton of testing already, but would benefit from the community at large to do additional testing and reporting back to Adobe before Adobe releases it out as an automatic update.
The new versions adds cameras, lens profiles, and tool used to recover sensor data that is usually lost when shooting in cropped mode. The exception will be to Nikon and Pentax data, where those manufactures choose to completely crop the image before storing to the card. In those cases the data was never there to begin with. But for other brands...
The following cameras are now supported...
- Canon EOS 650D / Rebel T4i
- Canon EOS M
- Fuji FinePix F800EXR
- Leaf Credo 40
- Leaf Credo 60
- Nikon 1 J2
- Panasonic DMC-FZ200
- Panasonic DMC-G5
- Panasonic DMC-LX7
- Pentax K-30
- Sony DSC-RX100
