Nikon just got the coolest endorsement ever. The fastest man alive, Usain Bolt from Jamaica, blistered the 200m sprint for a gold medal and a world record last night at the Olympics in London. And what did the fastest man alive do? He promptly went straight to the photographer's pit, commandeered a Nikon DSLR from a press photographer, and begin to snaps pics from his own perspective.
The Photographer in question, Jimmy Wixtrom from Scandinavia newspaper Aftonbkadet, handed him a wide angle lens, switched over to auto, gave the briefest of instructions, and let him go. That photographer now has some incredible memories, photos to back it up, and Nikon has the coolest endorsement ever. That perfect photo endorsement is sitting on the front page of Scandinavia's largest newspaper, and something tells me Nikon is working hard to get the rights to it.
(Thank you Christopher for the tip)
