The Canon EOS M hits the top of the best seller list

The new little mirrorless entry by Canon is a best seller. And you can only pre-order the thing. Amazon - a sponsor of this show - has the EOS M listed as number one, with a dollar sign, of the most popular sold item on their entire website. And they sell everything. Literally everything.

In the UK, however, it is a different story. While it still sits near the top of the list, it is currently ranked 16th.

Will the US market finally fully embrace the Mirrorless format? Personally I hope so. Why? Because DSLR is a dinosaur as far as technology is concerned. There is no need for a mirro box and pentaprism system anymore. Those two features in a DSLR are what make that box so big. With the advent of of improved technologies like EVIL viewfinders, if consumers fully embrace these Mirroless systems, we can see real ground breaking movement in professional systems. In my little ole' opinion, of course.
