Tim Tadder's Water Wigs

Ashley Lowder passed me a picture and asked me if I had seen it. I had not. It was a picture of something the photographer - Tim Tadder - called water wigs. And they are ubber cool.

Tim is an advertising Photographer in Southern California. His work has been featured by companies like Coke, Budweiser, Sears, AT&T, Poweraid, Adidas, and a host of other well known brands. Chances are, you have seen his work before.

This latest find called Water Wigs, however is just downright cool. He took balloons filled with water and wrapped them around the heads of people. He popped them, shot them exploding, and photoshopped out the little bits of balloon that were still in the image. He used some great lighting tricks to add color, vibrance, and contrast to the image as well. The results are fantastic.
