OMG, which stands for Oxford Metrics Group, has created a wearable camera. It is a 5MP sensor camera sporting a wide angle lens that can capture images within a 136 degree arc. It has a set of sensors that "see the environment" and looks for key changes. It then snaps that picture and stores it to internal memory. That can later be transported to a smartphone via bluetooth - and as Sheldon Cooper says everything is better with bluetooth.
There are 5 sensors and a built in GPS that detect subtle changes in light, direction, color, temperature, and motion. When seeing these changes, the image is captured and can be later reviewed from another device or computer. Thousands can be captured a day.
The company says this would be a great addition to a documentary shooter's arsenal of equipment.
