We had reported about this coming, and here it is. Both Virginia and Kentucky have it available, and it will probably be in your state as well.
The app lets you snap a photo, and send a suspicious activity report to local law enforcement or the feds. It can even use your GPS for location information.
Isn't it funny that Homeland Security is constantly being dinged for harassing law abiding citizens from taking photos legally, because they think photographing in the vicinity of a train station (for example) is considered suspicious behavior, but they want you to do that same thing for the same reasons to report it?
