Google has become such a part of our life, that we now refer to it as an action, instead of a product. For instance, "I am going to go Google that new camera from Nikon," simply means that you are going to do some online research, that may or may not, involve the Google search engine. Well if the geniuses over at Google have their way, we may see a new phrase come to life.
Google Zooming.
The new patent allows a smart phone to gather information from other geo tagged photos online, then be able to zoom in to an image of a landmark, for instance.
But this raises a question... Isn't the point of taking a photo to capture the moment? If so, then using this feature would mean that you are capturing someone else's moment... Right?
Of course I am sure that it is more aimed at a tourist that is sight seeing, and not photographers, but it still makes me wonder....
