The Big Photo Show

We have a lot of fans in the California area and this is going to be something I think they will all want to go to. It's called the Big Photo Show and it is put out by PMA.

We have a number of photo expos each year, and they are always an exciting time for photo geeks, but they are pretty much geared towards industry types. How about one that is geared towards us consumers?

PMA is making that a reality in May of next year. May 4-5 at the Los Angeles Convention between 10AM and 6PM, consumers (AKA photographers) will browes the hall and meet with vendors, hold and play with products, and be able to hear lectures from guest speakers and photographers.

The next question that PhotoTips fans may have is - will PhotoTips be there? Traveling that far for 4 days and being away from my family that long is not exactly my cup of tea. But I do really want to go. There may be a way that I can turn this into a double purpose trip and have a small workshop with PhotoTips fans in order to be able to help fund this. We will see....
